Panels

Panels

The goal of the 45-minute panel sessions is to provide in-depth presentations and discussion on a particular topic. Panels consist of short presentations by 3-4 leaders in the field, followed by moderated dialogue among the panelists and the audience members.

We sought a broad range of panels, including leading edge technical topics in the four highlighted conference areas (i.e., information security, intelligent systems, human centered computing, computational math and science), professional development topics (e.g., mentoring, networking, proposal writing, etc.). as well as issues and problems faced by minority serving institutions (e.g., student retention, graduation rates, issues of adequate funding, research profile improvement, etc.).
