We invite researchers to submit papers describing their research results to the Tapia 2009 Conference. Topics of interest include all areas of computing, computational math and science, and diversity issues in these disciplines. We encourage papers co-authored by students, papers by new investigators on original research, as well as thesis summaries, projects, and descriptions of goals and interim results of ongoing research.
A review committee will referee submitted papers using several criteria including technical soundness, clarity and accessibility. Accepted papers presented at the Tapia 2009 Conference will be included in the Tapia Conference Proceedings published by ACM Press.
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of no more than 6 pages in length including results, figures and references. Papers must be formatted according to the ACM SIG Proceedings Template, which can be downloaded from http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates/.
