2011 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference
Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco, California
April 3-5, 2011

The 2011 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing is the sixth in a series of conferences, its ten year anniversary! The program includes stellar invited speakers, a student poster competition, a daylong Doctoral Consortium, a session featuring a choice of attractions unique to San Francisco, a gala banquet and dance, and many exciting networking opportunities.

Creating a welcoming environment, gathering a community of diverse scholars, and
providing the highest quality learning, networking, and social experiences make
the "Tapia Conference" the tremendous event that it is.   This conference looks to be the most exciting ever.

David Patterson, Professor in Computer Science at the University of California,
Berkeley, is General Chair and Juan Vargas of Microsoft is Deputy
Chair of the conference.

More information on the conference will follow shortly as plans are developed.
For now, mark your calendars!
